Thirlestane Woodland Lodges.
The Lauderdale Estate launched it’s brand new Thirlestane Woodland Lodges earlier this year and have experienced significant popularity.
They offer the ultimate rural retreat in the heart of the Scottish Borders, set within beautiful mature woodland boasting views of Thirlestane Castle.
The woodland lodges are available as two or three bedroom, sleeping 4-6 guests.
All are complete with open-plan kitchen and living space for everyone to enjoy, and outside on the screened decking sits a private hot tub, inviting guests to unwind and relax. Decorated to the highest standard, the lodges seamlessly blend timeless elegance with modern amenities, creating an environment that exudes both charm and comfort. The lodges are ideal for self-catered getaways or as an extension to the Castle accommodation for larger occasions such as events and weddings.

Moira Johnston-Weare is a solution focused hypnotherapist, based in East Lothian, who does online and face to face sessions with clients.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is a type of talking therapy that incorporates psychotherapy with hypnosis. It utilises modern and well researched strategies. It differs from other types of therapy as SFH does not dwell on the past traumas or events. Instead, it looks at what you want to achieve (the solution) rather than the problem and identifying what small steps you can take to achieve that.
You really do have to experience SFH to really appreciate the power it has!
Moira can be contacted via her website or Instagram for a free informal chat about what she offers and how she can help you.

I am a trained Equine Sport Massage Therapist (ESMT) covering the Scottish Borders.

Massage is used as a preventative measure more than a cure and comes with many benefits. It helps circulation and posture and can reduce swelling and inflammation. Lymphatic drainage and muscle tone can also be improved. It can increase flexibility and is good for injury prevention and pain relief. It also benefits horses coming back from injury.

Along side massage, I can offer kinesiology-taping which helps increase circulation, muscle fatigue, removal of toxins and supports joints, tendons and ligaments. Kinesiology-taping facilitates healing and can improve range of motion.
